November Rose

Stumbling through the autumn rain
A lonely merchant on his way
the woods offer no place to stay
but suddenly, a light ray --

A sole flower withstands the storm
Blossoming, unscarred
underneath the soaking trees
to brighten up his heart

          All months the same, October Rain
          Washing the light and bright away
          And yet here grows, this November Rose
          Shining through this world of grey

A spider entered his lady's den
Thoraces were hanging everywhere
Her abdomen loomed--white and bare

Afraid, he took the thread to seek, and
Nature told him what to speak

Awed eyes sparkled in recognition, and she
Embraced him in a quick decision
Languid love followed repetition

Evening came and the moon looked down
At arachnid lovers together bound
Glared at he who lay so still
Leered at she who made the kill...But his dead
Eyes stared back, happy and filled

So many unique stories waiting to be told

But nowadays we are so busy

From tropical birds to violent thunder
Yet we seem to have no sense of duty
To preserve it's natural beauty
So turn off your mobile phone

And go outdoors and just take a minute

Wasn't just there like a gift.
I hid the bite marks in the coat,
Hoping, and praying, you'd never look.

mellifluous, monotonous, it chants

that emptiness of the overflowing heart.

The ColorsThe colors are bright

in the afternoon, nearly night
where the shadows are floating
along with the clothing
known as the colors

the trees are soothing
happy to feel the wind
to rest and see
the colors

the ground is shaking
dancing in the colors
and the shadows
and happy following
the passenger
of the ground

the sky is moving
moving with the clouds
moving along
dancing along
and the sight
becomes more than that
with the clouds
the sky
the ground
the trees
the shadows
and the colors.

The day dusk did not sleep.

You stepped into my life when those bullies haunted me,
You stood in front of me and clenched your fist.
Told them to back off and leave me alone,
They feared you, so they obeyed your warning.
Once they were gone you turned to me,
Took my hand and helped me up.
Then looked into my eyes,
And captured me with your smile.

That was the day the mountains shook,
The day when the oceans went silent.
When time stood still for the very first time.
When the colors in the sky didn't change from that golden ray,

As I walked, one eve, too my little shack,
I heard something that made me turn back,
A terrible roar, from a beast that didn't belong,
To this wilderness so vast and long.

Down by the river where the fishes roam free,
Where I use to sit as the birdies sang to me,
A creature made of steal instead of flesh,
Was ripping up the earth and, making a mess.

With faceless jaws it chewed up the grown,
And flattened the plants with its feet big and round,
It had an appearance so hideous,
And on it's back was the word Tyrannous.

It has been long since I saw one of these,
Not since before the treat

I know that but T is a nitrogenous base and in this poem I'm comparing DNA to a song so I used a little poetic license
