Lub Dub
By Mongoose Van Dunkelschreiber
I see a little blood cell
That blood cell needs air
So it travels through the veins then the veineoles then the vena cava to the heart
Now the little cell enters the right atrium
Lub the first contraction
The tricuspid valve opens and the little blood cell enters the right ventricle
Dub the second contraction
The pulmonary valve open and the little blood cell leave the heart
Now the little blood cell is free to travel
Travel to the lungs to get some air
At the lungs the little blood cell exchanges gasses CO2 for O2
Now the little blood cell has a purpose
Some where some other cell needs air
So the little blood cell travels through the pulmonary vein back to the heart
Now the little blood cell enters the left atrium
Lub the third contraction
The bicuspid valve opens and the little blood cell enter the left ventricle
Dub the forth contraction
The aortic valve opens and the little blood cell leaves the heart
Now the little blood cell is free to travel
Travel to that other cell and give it the air it needs
At that other cell the little blood cell exchanges gasses O2 for CO2
Now I see a little blood cell
That blood cell needs air
who says a poem has to be symbolic
